Lamphere Schools Adult Transition Program

Transition Program is a transitional post-secondary life skills and vocational program serving young adults age 18-26 with a developmental disability or cognitive impairment who reside in the Lamphere school district.  Students will have individually specific goals, and may obtain their goals in a year or two; others may not reach these goals for several years. Young adults will participate in a wide range of activities designed to help them reach their full potential at home, at work and in the community.  Students will participate in a program that focuses on daily activities such as; current event discussions, social skill exercises, functional academics, life skills, physical fitness activities, and employment opportunities.
