Autism often affects how people communicate, interact, and experience the world and is characterized by challenges in social communication and interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors and passionate interests and or topics.
Autism Acceptance Month recognizes that Autism is more than a diagnosis-it is identity, community, and a lived experience that encompasses both challenges and triumphs.
Throughout Autism Acceptance Month, the Autism Society will engage the Autism community through awareness events, educational resources, and advocacy initiatives that uplift Autistic voices and create pathways for neurodiversity inclusion.
